Under the federal No Child Left Behind law, students attending a Title I school designated as “in need of improvement” have the right to attend a higher performing school in the district. Most UMA students attend classes on our beautiful Augusta campus. At the heart of the campus is a large central green, ringed by the Katz Library, classroom buildings, the eye-catching new Human Rights and Holocaust Center, and Jewett Hall, home of the Danforth Art Gallery and a concert and performance auditorium. Rounding out the campus green is our striking Student Technology Center. The hub for all student activities, the Student Center is where you’ll also find our café, bookstore, a state-of-the-art computer lab, and a great lounge for studying or just hanging out with friends. A short walk from the campus green is Robinson Hall, UMA's one-stop student services center. Among the many offices you’ll find at Robinson Hall are Admissions, Financial Aid, the Dean of Students, the Registrar, and the Bursar. The Office of the President and Provost are also situated here.
